Lyndale Avenue Reconstruction

In partnership with HDR and Kimley-Horn, Willow Consulting led community engagement strategy and implementation during the design phase of the Lyndale Avenue reconstruction project.
The engagement process included open houses, neighborhood and business meetings, pop-up events, school outreach, door-to-door engagement, walking tours, transit-based outreach, and interactive event displays to meet people where they are.
Outcomes
- Nearly 60,000 points of contact with community members
- Over 2,000 comments collected to inform design decisions
- Strong event participation, including open houses and Open Streets engagement
- Established lasting relationships with small businesses and community members
